The COVID-19 global pandemic significantly impacted CCA’s operations and activities. During this period, most Club activities were conducted online, with a primary focus on supporting members of the community affected by the pandemic. Major community events and social gatherings were suspended in line with public health restrictions.

At the FY2020 Annual General Meeting (AGM), held on 26 February 2021, a Special Resolution was unanimously passed to extend the term of the existing Executive Committee for FY2022, ensuring continuity of leadership during the unprecedented circumstances.

Subsequently, at the FY2022 Annual General Meeting (AGM), held on 26 June 2022, another Special Resolution was unanimously passed to further extend the term of the existing Executive Committee for FY2023 and FY2024, enabling the Club to continue its recovery and maintain organisational stability as community activities gradually resumed.

The CCA Executive Committee for FY2020–FY2021 was formed at the FY2019 Annual General Meeting (AGM) held on 26 January 2020.

At the AGM, a Special Resolution was unanimously passed to amend the Constitution of Chattogram Club Australia Inc. The constitutional amendments included a significant change to the governance structure, reducing the Executive Committee from 35 members to a streamlined 15-member Board. This new governance model was introduced to enhance operational efficiency, strengthen accountability, and support more effective decision-making.

The CCA journey began with an Executive Committee comprising 35 dedicated members who worked collaboratively with the wider membership to achieve the Club’s vision of serving and supporting the community.

During its inaugural two-year term (FY2018–FY2019), the Executive Committee successfully delivered the highly acclaimed Mezban 2018 and Mezban 2019, along with numerous community, cultural, sporting, and charitable initiatives. These included Iftar gatherings, blood donation drives, community picnics, BBQ events, Sports Day celebrations, the establishment of the CCA Cricket Team and CCA Soccer Team, and various charitable activities that strengthened community engagement and promoted the Club’s mission.
