At Chattogram Club Australia Incorporated (CCA), we stand in solidarity with the people of Bangladesh who have been severely impacted by the recent floods (Aug-2024). In times of crisis, our strength lies in our unity, and we are proud to have rallied together to support those in urgent need.
Through a combined effort, a total of AUD $12,186 was raised for flood relief:
- AUD $7,186 was generously contributed by CCA members and the wider community, with 28 individuals donating amounts ranging from $10 to $1,000 directly into the CCA charity account. Syed Brothers also raised and donated AUD $3,200 through a successful charity BBQ event.
- An additional AUD $5,000 was allocated from CCA’s charity fund to support the cause.
In total, AUD $12,200 was transferred to Alhaj Shamsul Hoque (ASH) Foundation and Youth’s Voice, two trusted organizations on the ground in Bangladesh, to ensure direct and effective distribution of aid to flood-affected families.
Where the Funds Were Used:
🛏️ Emergency supplies, including blankets
🏚️ Shelter and housing for displaced families
🧵 Sewing machines and accessories to support livelihood recovery
🐐 Goats and livestock, along with other essentials identified by ASHF for sustainable assistance

We remain committed to humanitarian efforts that bring both immediate relief and support long-term recovery for vulnerable communities. Our heartfelt thanks go out to every individual and group who contributed to this life-saving cause.
Let us continue to stand together in compassion and service.
